6-DAY SKI TOURING IN CRETE: AN UNFORGETTALE ISLAND ODYSSEY

Group 3: Saturday 22 February to Saturday 1 March 2026

Day 1: Arrival in Chania
Fly into Chania via Athens, then transfer to your hotel in Omalos for a restful night.
Day 2: Summit of Psilafi
Conquer Psilafi summit, enjoy a thrilling ski descent, and transfer to Kallergi refuge for the night
Day 3: Ascent of Miladaou
Ascend Miladaou in the White Mountains and return to Kallergi refuge for another night’s stay.
Day 4: Dual Peaks Adventure
Ascend Kastro and Fanari peaks, then transfer to the village of Anopolis for an overnight stay.
Days 5 & 6: Southern Peaks Expedition 
Explore the southern mountains, summiting Pachnes and Kakovoli. Spend two nights in Anopolis, enjoying the stunning views.
Day 7: Northern White Mountains Skiing
Ski in the northern White Mountains, culminating with the ascent of Spathi, before transferring to Chania for the night.
Day 8: Departure 
Transfer to the airport for your departure, wrapping up an incredible ski touring adventure in Crete.

Comments & recommendations:
– Each group is limited to 6 skiers/splitboarders.
– This adventure is ideal for those with solid ski touring experience. You’ll encounter steep slopes (25°-35°) and variable snow conditions, so proficiency in all snow types is essential. However, there’s no need to acclimate to high altitudes, and you won’t have to navigate glaciers or crevasses. Additionally, avalanches are less frequent here compared to the Alps.
– Good physical condition is mandatory.
– Daily elevation: 800m to 1300m.
– Depending on the weather and snow conditions, the program and altitude variations may change. Additionally, an overnight bivouac in the mountains with expedition tents may be organized.
– Guides may change the route or stop the ascent for safety reasons at any time.



PRICING DETAILS

« All-In » Price: €2.890

This package includes an 8-day, 7-night trip with 6 full days of skiing, designed for a group of 6 participants* accompanied by 2 guides. The following services are included:
 – Comprehensive care: From your arrival at the airport (Thessaloniki or Crete) until your return flight.
– Guiding services and logistical support: Professional guides and assistance throughout your trip.
– Transport: All transport between ski sites by van.
– Accommodation: Lodging in hotels, B&Bs, refuges, and bivouacs, including all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
– Luggage and ski equipment transfers: Ensuring smooth transport of your gear throughout the trip.
 
The price does not include:
– Flights to Greece: While not included, we are happy to assist with booking your flights once your registration is finalized.
– Additional expenses: Such as drinks outside of meals and other personal expenses (e.g., energy bars…).
– Gear (skis, backpack, avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, etc.). If you’re missing anything, we can provide it (subject to availability) free of charge.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION TERMS

Deposit: A 50% deposit is required upon registration, with the remaining balance due no later than 2 months before departure.
Cancellation Policy:
– Full refund if canceled within 48 hours of registration.
– 50% refund for cancellations made up to 30 days before departure.
– 15% refund for cancellations made up to 3 days before departure.
– In the event that the trip is canceled by the organizer due to exceptional circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, lack of snow), participants may choose to transfer to another date or cancel their participation and receive a full refund.

We strongly advise purchasing travel insurance that includes coverage for cancellations.
